The Beach

What is there to love about a dog on a surf board? Fun spills out of this Subaru as the dogs spill out onto the sandy beach. The amount of effort that it must have taken to train these dogs to play around as they did is astounding. The dog on the surf board looks eerily similar to the dog that could ride the skateboard. Subaru has refreshed the Dog tested genre and have created acting careers for our four-legged friends. A day at the beach is a day of fun and what is more fun that going to beach with a bunch of your buddies in your Subaru? Much like country-mates Samael, Gothic and Industrial musical elements played an important role in their sound during their later career, starting as a Rawer Black Metal sound before signing to Century Media records. Coincidentally, Samael's current vocalist/guitarist Vorph did vocals on the 1990 demo "Black Wedding" and Masmiseim (Christophe Mermod) played bass for the group before joining Samael in 1992. Former Alastis drummer Acronoise (b. Laurent Mermod) is also Masmiseim's brother. The Eaves Dropper - The Unexpected, 1940`s old-time radio with Barry Sullivan

Barry Sullivan stars in an episode of an old time radio drama series called the unexpected, The Eaves Dropper. Barry Sullivan (August 29, 1912 -- June 6, 1994) was an American movie actor who appeared in over 100 movies from the 1930s to the 1980s. Born in New York City, Sullivan fell into acting when in college playing semi-pro football. During the later Depression years, Sullivan was told that because of his 6 ft 3 in (1.9 m) stature and rugged good looks he could "make money" simply standing on a Broadway stage. This began a successful career on Broadway, movies and television. One of Sullivan's most memorable roles was playing a movie director in The Bad and the Beautiful opposite Kirk Douglas. Sullivan toured the US with Bette Davis in theatrical readings of the poetry of Carl Sandburg and starred opposite her in the 1951 film Payment on Demand. In 1950, Sullivan appeared in the film A Life of Her Own and replaced Vincent Price in the role of Leslie Charteris' Simon Tem! plar on the NBC Radio show The Saint. Unfortunately, Sullivan only lasted two episodes before the show was cancelled, and then resurrected five weeks later with Vincent Price once again playing the starring role. In the 1953-1954 television season, Sullivan appeared with other celebrities as a musical judge in ABC's Jukebox Jury.[1] Sullivan's first starring television role was a syndicated adaptation of the radio series The Man Called X for Ziv Television in 1956-1957, as secret agent Ken Thurston ...

Elsiane - Prosaic album: Hybrid (2007) Le trip-hop est mort à la fin des années 90, c'est bien connu... Les années 2000 marquent un tournant pour le genre, et les disques ne sonnent plus comme à la belle époque. Pourtant, certains groupes ne semblent pas avoir reçu le message. C'est le cas d'Elsiane, duo qui livrait en 2007 un premier album "Retour aux sources" étonnant. Mais alors pourquoi en at-on si peu entendu parler de l'autre coté de l'Atlantique ? Parce que la vie est injuste, et que les formations de qualité en auto-production sont noyées au beau milieu de la promotion incessante d'artistes souvent bien plus médiocres. Séchez vos larmes, le mal sera bientôt réparé. Hybrid est en quelque sorte un album qui aurait pu naitre peu de temps après le très célèbre live de Portishead à New York. Outre les arrangements de cordes communs aux deux albums, le disque des canadiens sonne presque comme si tout avait été enregistré en live. Une profondeur de so! n très appréciable, pour une musique vivante, grandement démarquée de ses contemporains. Autre bon point pour Elsiane, une voix, une vraie. Alors certes, les voix de caractère ont toujours suscité des débats houleux parmi les auditeurs, et il est facilement compréhensible que certains saturent si les dites voix ne les rendent pas amoureux instantanément.
